BARIUM SULPHATE (BARYTE)

Barite is a natural product of white color, carefully selected. It shows an excellent balance between optical and mechanical properties, excellent chemical inertness, low level of impurities and abrasion resistance.

Barite is used in a wide range of applications. Industrial coatings, marine paints and powder coatings.

It is also used in industrial sealants and adhesives and, thanks to its high specific weight, it is also used in sound insulation in automotive and domestic applications (for example, water drain pipes).
